Mermaid is a mythological aquatic creature that could breathe under water as well as on land and looks as if a half human .Science makes man to become a mermaid or mermen which could breathe on land as well as water.Alan Izhar-Bodner, an Israeli inventor, invented a special apparatus by which the divers are able to breathe under water without those massive oxygen tanks. The apparatus makes use of the dissolved oxygen in water to breathe ,as if a fish do.
Behind the working
The working principle of the apparatus is ‘Henry’s Law’.It states that the gas dissolved in a liquid is directly proportional to the pressure applied ie more the pressure applied larger the amount of gas that can be dissolved. This phenomenon could be observed while opening a soda can. When we read more

Human nose is one of the most amazing human organ which is able to detect more than 10,000 chemicals in air or simply able to detect many ’smells’.For years scientists were on research to find an artificial nose better known as ‘electronic nose ‘to replace a natural one which could find a lot of applications in food industries, explosive industries and other industries where human intake of a chemical become harmful.
Lawrence Livermore scientists were the leading ones in the field of miniature electronic tools to detect various magnetic, acoustic, seismic, electrical, nuclear signal etc.Now in favour of Departments of Defense and Homeland Security planners they are in research of miniaturized electronic nose that could be used to detect nuclear, toxic and explosive read more

Witricity stands for wireless electricity.Yes the modern world is getting rid of the complicated wires and cable for the power transfer and the wireless electric world is coming into existence. It uses the principle of coupled resonant objects(resonating magnetic field) to transfer wireless electricity. It requires a transmitter as well as a receiver for transmission. The inventors of the witricty is from Massachusetts Institute of Technology ,the prime experiment was ligting up a bulb which was at a distance of seven feet a from the source using a transmitter and receiver.
The experiment got its spark from the idea that it would be more easy if we could charge mobile phones without a charger, one of the master brain behind this experiment Prof. Marin Soljacic was the first to struck read more

London plans to make the Lunar clock as one of the most attracting feature for the 2012 Olympics. This lunar clock is tidal powered and the massive art sculpture is designed and maintained by the British firm Aluna Limited and hence the structure is named as Aluna. The master brain behind the construction of this wonder is Lara Williams. The structure is 40m high and 130 m wide and is powered from the tidal waves produced in the river Thames which makes it flow beneath the clock. The power so produced is more enough to light 100 homes in addition to the powering of lunar clock. It has got the credit of first art work on the world to power more than hundred homes
It consists of huge three rings which is made of steel, glass and concrete. How the time is determined??its determined by the read more

India made a remarkable achievement in space technology by making a successful launch of Chandrayaan-1 ,the lunar vehicle. The mission was success and it placed India’s tricolour on moon’s surface on Nov.14th,on the birth date of India’s first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The research on the moon’s surface is yet going on progress. And this attempt made India one among the world powers who have dominance in the space technology.Photographs at the time of construction of Chandrayaan and photos taken by it are loaded below.
