It became common to plant encapsulated radio tags inside animals to reveal its identity,more clearly by knowing the radio tag  details of an elephant we could know who is the owner of the elephant?if the  registration of that animal is made legal?does it reported for any kind of disease and so on.

But now the idea comes to apply it in humans, that each human is planted with a chip encapsulated in a plastic covering,it wont affect any of our body parts neither we feel any discomfort.And the size of it is as small as a rice grain,But by checking the details in the chip an authority could know our name,address,nationality,criminal records and everything.So the government or higher official think it as remedy to prevent the wild spreading terrorism.At first there was a large protest for the implementation of this chip so called “verichip”since it would affect our privacy.But after the world trade center incident people also came to realize the need of the verichip and how it could  be helpful.Other than this purpose,it could be used instead of a credit card for shopping and more features can be added to it .It could reduce our hardships in shopping,the need to take driving license everywhere  we go,the need of identity proof ,passport etc ,all this become irrelevant  at this contest which almost all countries demands .

A company called Applied digital solutions  at Florida  designed and made it in a commercial base for the first time.The chip is so small as mentioned and the scanner to monitor the details has only the size of a cellphone.The cost for the  verichip is about Rs10,00/- and the scanner cost about 1lakh rupees.Jacob’s family in America was the first family to implant the chips in their body at the year of  2002.Verichip is good or bad this remains  controversial.
